My War Stories

1957 My grandpa joined the Air Force to help pay for his college, and he had always thought that joining the Air Force could only benefit him. He also had enjoyed almost everything about airplanes and everything they could accomplish and do. Unlike most of his friends that were drafted into a service, not necessarily the Air Force, he enlisted himself once he was 20.
