4/6/1973 Battery A, 2nd Air Defense Training Battalion (Hawk/Redeye) 1st AIR Brigade completed 8 weeks of advanced individual training in MOS 16E, Hawk missile fire control crewman.
9/17/1973 Meritorious achievement during the period 9/14/1973 to 9/17/1973 while assigned as Hawk missile fire control operator at battery B, 1st Missile Battalion, 2nd Air Defense Artillery, 38th Air Defense Artillery Brigade. His faultless performance of duty was instrumental in the combat rating which the unit received. The coveted superior crew performance was achieved.
1974 Bravo Battery, 1st Missile Battalion, 2nd Air Defense Artillery completed basic leadership course for junior NCO's and specialists given by 38th Air Defense Artillery Brigade.
1974 Outstanding performance of duties as Fire Control Crewman during the Annual Tactical Effectiveness Evaluation for B Battery, 1st Missile Battalion, 2nd Air Defense Artillery. Hard work and perseverance was a major contribution to the superior score your unit achieved during the evaluation.
