My grandfather Paul Brilla served on the USS LEO AKA -60 from 1942-1946. I am blessed to still have him with me and he always tells me about his time on the USS LEO AKA -60. Listening to him recall the times he spent serving never grows old for me. Looking through his photos while listening to his stories makes me want to find any men he served with with the hopes of reconnecting him to his fellow shipmates. He is my hero and always will be. If there is anyone that has family that served with him could you please contact me. I know it would make him so happy. |
