MY WIFES GRANDFATHER WAS RICHARD M. DEMLLO 1ST LIEUNTENANT U.S. ARMY AIR FORCE WAS A B-24 PILOT LIBERATOR DURING WWII AND WOAS LOOKIGN FOR AS MUCH INFO REGARDING HER GRANDFATHER AND NOT SURE WERE TO LOOK AND HOW TO REQUEST THE INFO.

Go to http://www.archives.gov/veterans/evetrecs/ and click on "Launch eVetRecs Request Military Records" to the right of the screen. When you get to the commnents section ask for all his medals and military records. The more information you have about him the better chance you will get information. After you submit the request online, you will have to fax a signed document in. Just follow the directions on the screen. You will get a reply within 1-3 months. You will get his military decorations in 6-9 months.
